I have taught High School Social Studies for eleven years. Seven years in Detroit and four years at Monroe High School. I live in southern Wayne county with my husband, 2 year old daughter, newborn son, and dog. I love to read, shop, and travel. I truly enjoy working with High School students. I completed my B.A. in Social Studies Teaching at Michigan State University, an M.A. in Teaching at Marygove College, and an M.A. in Counseling at University of Detroit- Mercy. I am currently working on an Educational Technology endorsement at University of Michigan Dearborn. I am hoping to enhance and improve my teaching by learning how to use relevant technologies.
